I suppose someone who knows what vodka smells like would say that this smells like vodka. I say it smells like some kind of astringent, but it's weak, so I still don't really know what to expect. I would say that this is the first time I've had straight vodka, but it says on the label that it is "Crisp Smooth with Natural Flavors." Are those "flavors" the flavor of vodka? I mean, everything has a flavor, and it is natural for it to have a flavor. I don't know what they mean.
First sip is very crisp and smooth, and it has natural flavors. Okay, really, this is better than some whiskey, I guess. Probably not even most whiskey, really. But that stems from the fact that it doesn't have much flavor at all. It even lacks the Kentucky hug that I get with most liquor. I don't know what to think beyond... what's the point? Beer is a complex painting with bright colors and dark tones. This is a white canvas with a black dot in the center. I don't get it.
