There was no expectation that this would be anything but cream color, and that's what I see. Maybe it's a bit more yellow than Bailey's is, but there isn't much in the difference. The aroma is pure banana pudding; we get 'nana puddin' with BBQ for lunch all the time down here in Nashville, and I know of which I speak - this is it, but it definitely has an alcohol bite waiting for me inside it.
First sip is impressive. Obviously, this is for dessert or something with all the sweetness going on, and the bananas are lovingly mixed with the vanilla cream is about the perfect mixture. There is an odd (but very welcomed) chocolate that seems to rise out of nowhere toward the back-end. This is a very good beverage right off the bat, but I wonder if I will continue to enjoy this whole glass.
The alcohol is well hidden in the cream, but the chocolate seems to be covering it more than anything. In fact, eventually the banana and vanilla start to take a back seat to the chocolate, and I've got nothing against it. None of the flavors really go away at any point, and this might even be good at room temperature (I refrigerated it for a while before trying it) although it doesn't have every flavor that would actually make it banana pudding.
Bottom Line: A tasty treat.
