Every whiskey may struggle to find that high point. For every type of beverage that I try, it seems like there is a high water mark. The high water mark for whiskey is that BBQ whiskey that I had. Maybe it isn't the purest whiskey experience, but it is the most enjoyable one I've had so far. Let's beat it.
I once again find myself trying to figure out how to describe a brown liquor's color and texture. I'm sure there are many experts out there who would comment about the smooth gradation of the texture or the color has a hint of walnut added to a rosewood base. I am not that guy, so it's whiskey color, and it is doing a convincing job of looking like whiskey. The aroma is smooth peanuts over quite strong alcohol.
First sip is peanut butter smoothness. It's so smooth that the alcohol doesn't have time to intrude. As a result, the drink is quite nice. It reminds me of the gentle strength of the BBQ whiskey that I liked so much that I bought two full sized bottles of it. The issue with peanut butter is that it can become too much very quickly. We'll have to see how the rest of the glass goes.

Well, I'm back. The peanuts, if anything, start to mute after a while, and the Kentucky hug grips every time I take a sip, which is nice. I suppose it helps that I've stretched this out over the course of an evening, but it is a good sipping whiskey, and I don't know of any other kind that I'd like to drink.
