Okay so the lime was terrible. It was just terrible. It's my fault more than it is theirs, as they know their audience likes tequila, and I am apparently not their audience. Nevertheless, I got a multi-pack, and I'm planning on reviewing all of them, even if they're very short reviews. At least this one has pineapple and jalapeno, and those flavors tend to be particularly overwhelming. Maybe they will get rid of that nasty herbal tequila flavor in favor of something a bit more strident.
I didn't really expect anything different. It's a clear beverage with virtually no actual carbonation in it, so the visual style is like a glass of water. The aroma is mildly more interesting than the previous beverage, as the very light jalapeno and pineapple is detectable. Honestly, this smells like the inside of several beer stores I've been in. It's smells more like cardboard and packing material than it does a beverage.
First sip isn't as terrible as the lime, but it's not good. I'm not going to continue drinking this, and I'm going to be pouring out the rest of this flavor as well. I've got two more flavors in that fridge, and I'm dumping those, too. Tequila just isn't my thing, and seltzer as a base doesn't do enough to erase the tequila flavor that it really needs to do. Again, this is my fault and not theirs
