While I was looking at the limoncellos, it occurred to me that I have tried very few Italian beers. I know they exist, and I think I have had one or two, but I've never actually reviewed one. The process of the review often dictates quite different results from when I'm at a bar, a restaurant, or even at a friend's house. I've had Peroni before at a restaurant, but I've never reviewed it. So, I picked a six pack up at my local beer place, and now I'm going to review it.
The very pale yellow beer produces more head then is strictly required, but I'm not going to fault it for that. What I am going to fault it for, however, is the smell. This is skunked. I see on the back, the "Best Before" date is five months from now, but this Italian beer is flat-out skunked. I'm not going to continue a review, either. Why is this in a light green bottle? You know you shouldn't do that! You have produced a highly unpalatable beverage, and I hope that makes you happy. You are not craftsmen or artists. You are slop-mongers.Bottom Line: Undrinkable swill.
