Sugarlands "Strawberry Dream" Sippin' Cream

Another cream has come across my desk, and I'm going to tell you that I'm lookin forward to this. The 20% ABV is significantly above what I would find in many other creams, and I wonder how well it will cope. I don't want a hit of moonshine that is slightly influenced by cream or strawberries - I want a smooth beverage that I can ease into the night with.

"It smells like Strawberry Quick!" my spouse cried after I asked her to take a whiff. I have to agree with her, but the quite high alcohol (for a cream like this) comes out pretty strongly. The strawberry scent is lightly mixed with vanilla, but it doesn't overcome all that alcohol. The pink beverage is otherwise fairly unremarkable, but I think I'd like it to be a bit more red. 

First sip is packing quite a bit of alcohol, but the strawberry is smooth on top of all that cream. A few more sips show that the sweetness and the strawberries (and even that hint of vanilla) reign over that ABV pretty well. The beverage can pretty easily wind up getting sucked down a little too quickly for something with the kind of lazy punch that can put you on the ground.

Bottom Line: Smooth, creamy, and potent.
