I would be lying if I said that I thought there was much chance of this being any good. The previous two beverages have set the stage for this to have that weird chemical taste to it, but this time they've added strawberry and dragon fruit. Strawberry might have helped, but the dragon fruit is almost definitely going to drag it down. Maybe it's just me, but dragon fruit is really a complimentary flavor rather than a driving flavor in itself. As a result, I can only look to the strawberry to cover up the misfortune of being in the rest of the beverage.
Well, they added color when they added the fruits, so the beverage is now vaguely red added to the natural color of the tea. It is at this point that I am really frustrated by the fact that it seemed like they had a very good idea, and their execution wasn't terrible, except for what apparently is some major issue with their drink design process. The aroma smells mostly of strawberries, and I can't smell much else. That's good, as I can't smell whatever that chemical cardboard nonsense is.
First sip is shocking. It's entirely different from the previous two beverages. The fruits are very forward, and the tea is very light. More importantly, there is no sign of the nasty extra flavors that somehow got added to the others. I can't overstate how happy I am about this change. I was loathing the idea of this beverage, but strawberry and dragon fruit are meeting my tongue, and they are having a little party of their own.
Tip-in is strawberries and dragon fruit with a little bit of tartness added on top of very gentle tea. The middle is refreshing with fruits on top of a lot of liquid and a light tea backing it while sweetness swirls around. The finish adds a little more touch to the sweetness while strawberries and dragon fruit carry the whole thing into the trail off.
