Well, first sip isn't amazing, but it's not half bad. It has a tart/bitter to it that hit a little hard at first, but that might have been that I wasn't expecting it after the sweet smell of the malt. The malt is mostly bread, but there's a wheatgrass and the echo of wort that grows on me as the drink's actual taste fades away. I'm liking it more at the end of this paragraph than I did at the beginning.
Tip-in is sweet caramel and bread with dark fruits and grains mixed in some watered honey. The middle flows with a carbonation burn at the roof of the mouth that is supported by a heavy grain and floral mix on top of a melon. The finish is the hit of bitter and tart that overshadows the rest of the beer before a shadow of dankness that I didn't notice before retreats. Maybe I should have just kept sipping.
Bottom Line: Sip it, and it is intriguing enough to justify ordering it.
