First sip dispels my misconceptions about how much acid there would be. Instead, the juices are doing a great job of intermingling and providing as many flavors they can for the limited amount of space that my mouth has to offer. The malt backing it is bread, and it is doing a great job of covering up the bitterness that would normally be associated with all these fruits. If I was only going to sip, I might really enjoy this beverage. I wonder if I will enjoy it more with a gulp.
Tip-in is carbonation burn that is actually pretty heavy before the tongue manages to pull out the grapefruit, tangerine, and orange that is really trying to be seen. The middle somehow manages to turn up the carbonation, and that's a shame as it detracts from this delightful mixture of fruits that can only be glanced through the bubbles. The finish is where the bitterness was hiding, but it doesn't hit too hard. The cessation of carbonation is really the thing to celebrate in the finish before the slightly bitter and fruity mist elongates the trail off.
Bottom Line: Sip it, and you will really enjoy this.
