Aside from an unfortunate beer that was
sour, Uinta has been above average with all their
other beers. Honestly, if I was a fan of sour beers, that cherry blonde ale might have been really good. Unfortunately, that's not my thing, and I've learned to steer away from those ever since then. So, we come to this IPA with purportedly a large amount of juice, and am in for that kind of flavor tonight.

The hazy beer has a relatively even mixture of suspended bits in the middle of the orange beer. There isn't a lot of head to go around, but it leaves a nice spattering of lacing along the sides, and that's always welcome. The aroma is plenty juicy. It's got fairly heavy tropical fruits and definitely some citrus mixed in. Inside the layers of fruits, it smells of pine and a cracker malt. Presentation of this beer is pretty good.
First sip is very good. It's relatively smooth, un-jarring, and the finish isn't exactly crisp, but it's certainly tame enough that it's not as off-putting as a hop heavy IPA would normally be. It's so gentle, that I could be convinced that this was a DIPA instead. It may have a bit too much tartness at the beginning and yeast lingering for that.
Tip-in is moderate carbonation hassle with grapefruit, mango, orange, and more of a bread malt as the guts of the beer. The middle becomes more of a traditional juice flow. Where the beginning seemed a bit muddled, the middle is stretching out and laying all the fruits side by side for your enjoyment. The finish is a sudden sparkle of bitterness while a dusty yeast and a bit of resin swell up from underneath.
Bottom Line: Not a bad beer.
