I had the Red White & Berry Ice about a year ago, and it really didn't make much of an impression. The recent Orange Cream Pop, even though it only got a 3.0/5 rating, made a positive impression, as far as hard sodas go. I think they probably want this called a malt beverage, but it may very well be a liquor, for all I know. I still think there needs to be some kind of standard for indicating what type of alcohol is used in these beverages, but I appear to be in the minority.
The cloudy, white drink has carbonation that acts exactly like a soda, and there won't be a head or any lacing. This is one of the reasons I tend to go away from these kinds of beverages and lean into beers - I really like how beers look, aside from the deliciousness of the hops and malt they contain. Or wait - the yeast. Oh man, those Belgian beers and their yeast are something fantastic. The aroma is vaguely lemon, but it may have some lime in there with it.
First sip has a lot more carbonation than it needs, and the citrus is still just as confused as the smell made it seem. There are lemons and limes, and I don't know that there is anything else. When it said it was citrus, I assumed I would get grapefruit and maybe orange in there, but it is just a lemon lime beverage, and the flavors aren't jumping out at me at all. It's kind of dim, but a hot day might make this refreshing.
Tip-in is tart and sweet with lemons and limes that are joined by a not entirely intrusive carbonation. The middle is a nice, relaxing lemon-lime soda that would not be confused with Sprite or Mountain Dew. It's got its own flavor, and it's not bad. The finish is sweeter than tart, and the carbonation never really does anything to detract from a rather nice experiences.
