I have to make this quick. As far as I know, the only way to enjoy this beverage is to drink it while very cold, and this is a particularly large can. I don't want to find myself stuck with half of a warm beer, especially when the can specifically calls out cold on the label. Cold isn't a flavor, and you shouldn't necessarily say that your beer has the flavor of cold. The only reason you do that is when you have very little confidence in the actual taste of your beer.
Not much to see here, as the beer is a very pale yellow with a little bit of gold added to it. I expected the head to stick around a lot longer than it did, but other than that, I have very low expectations for this beer. It smells of sweet corn and grains. Are there hops involved in this? Well, I couldn't tell you from the smell. I'm going to dig in.
First sip is not good. It is that nasty stale beer taste that you get in the basement of a fraternity house after a 3-week bender. I have checked the "best by" date on the bottom of the can, just to ensure that I'm not out of date with this, and the suggested freshness date is several months from now. Nevertheless, this is pretty rank.
Tip-in is corn sweetness with a fairly vile yeast and malt combo that really make me question the choices in my life that have come to this point. The middle becomes watery nothingness with very little to recommend it but similarly very little to complain about. The finish is musty, nasty yeast and malt before sending it into a trail off that doesn't seem like it will ever end.
