The mint green beverage is oddly pleasing to look at. I really like mint chocolate chip ice cream, so this might really be up my alley. I can state unequivocally that the aroma is making me want to ditch this review and just drink this whole bottle. The sweet, sweet aroma of cream and mint smells really good, and I wonder if they are going to manage to actually get some chocolate in there with it.
First sip is very nice. I don't know how they got the chocolate flavor, but they did. Is that vanilla under it? I think so, but the mint is a river in which the chocolate floats, and I would drown in that river. The sweetness and overwhelming tastes in most of these creams results in the alcohol being almost undetectable. It is true here, but I remember a young boy I knew being given a taste of the crème brûlée by his parent, and the alcohol (which I couldn't taste) overwhelmed him. I still don't taste the alcohol here.
Continuing to drink it shows that it is probably best cold, but getting a little warmer doesn't hurt it like it would milk or something. The jar says it would be good on ice cream, and I am sorely tempted to try it, but I don't think I need even more calories heaped into my already expansive calorie budget.
