I went back and looked half a dozen times. I could have sworn I had this before and that I did a review of it, but I am not finding it. One of the benefits of this platform is that I have Google search built-in, and it... should be good enough to search a site that is fully indexed for a keywords, I should think. Mind you, Google's searching ability has been a bit down lately, and I don't think the magic of AI is going to save it.
I would like to say this looks like a pilsner, but it has a haze in it. It's not much of a haze, but any haze in a pilsner is not really ideal. As I learned from talking to the brew master at Cammo, haze is just not filtering something that you could probably just filter. It has no direct impact on the taste. Well, the head is pretty good, and it has lots of points of nucleation, but the top is mostly bare once the head recedes, and there is no lacing left behind. The aroma is shockingly skunked. I don't know why there have been a rash of these lately. This came in a multi-pack, and nothing else was skunked. There's no date written on the bottle, so... good luck to me, I guess.
First sip is not skunked as bad as it smelled, but it's still more than I'm going to deal with tonight. I'm pouring out all of the bottles of this and moving on. Get out, Sierra Nevada. You are not welcome here.
