I have learned my lesson in the past and I started with the plain lemonade first. This should ensure that I have a good basis for what the beverage started out like, and I know what modifications have been brought by the added strawberry flavor. As it was, the lemonade wasn't half bad, but it was pretty forgettable. Maybe the strawberry will make it something to remember.
Genuinely, I was shocked when I poured this. It looks exactly like the lemonade. By that I mean the original lemonade. Seriously, if I sat these two side by side, I would not be able to tell the difference just by looking at them. This has the same strange white haze to an otherwise clear beverage. It's possible this has a bit more carbonation coming up, but I'm only guessing. The aroma has the expected strawberry added to the lemonade, and that might make this fun.
First sip isn't bad, but it once again puts me in mind of that lemon vodka that I had previously. It's almost as if they started with that liqueur and then decided to add carbonation and maybe a little bit more lemonade. At the very least, they added more water. This time around, they added a hint of strawberry. It's as if they cut open some strawberries and then strained the lemonade through the strawberries. It's not a terrible taste, but it is an odd one, and I'm not sure that it successfully conveys the idea of a strawberry lemonade.
Once again, we have moderate carbonation sizzle, but this time we add strawberries to the lemons and the sweetness is undeniable. The middle is once again not particularly good, as it feels like it's trying to cram too many flavors and too much alcohol into too small of a place. The finish muddles the lemonade effect with the strawberry, and both of them do not successfully cancel out the sloth-like un-crispness that heads into the trail off.
