This is the fourth and final Lipton branded tea from Sunrise. If you look at each individual rating, they all hover around the average rating. I think maybe this subjective rating is a little misleading. The fact is, these have all been refreshing, easy to drink, and generally enjoyable. One of the quirks of my rating system is that an average drink might get looked down upon for only having a 2.5/5 rating. The fact is, that is average. It should be good enough. So far, all of these have been. They don't stand out as spectacular, but they all do a fine job what they are intended to do.
Unsurprisingly, it looks like tea. It might be slightly more orange than the others that I've had, but it basically looks like tea. As soon as I pour it, there's no question that this is peach flavored. The peach leaks out immediately upon the can being opened, and pouring it into a glass is simply aerosolizes tiny bits of peach-laden tea to make me really want to have a drink. Unlike the last one I had, I haven't done any particular hard work before having this, but I'm sure a refreshing beverage is good at almost any time.First sip is peach tea. As with the others, it is notably sweet, but not in a sweet tea kind of way. The peach is mingling very well with the tea, and the alcohol, again similar to the others, is kind of hiding in the background. I'm fully anticipating that the alcohol will be quite noticeable by the time I'm close to finished with this glass, but by then I will already have completed this review, and I'm probably going to kind of like that flavor, anyway.
Tip-in is peach and tea with just enough sweet to keep it interesting and alcohol not particularly prominent. The middle shows the alcohol underneath the peach a lot more, and it becomes somewhat acidic as it flows across the roof of the mouth. The finish is a big wave of peach with tea clinging on to its coattails as it leaves sweetness on the tongue and lips.
Bottom Line: If you like peach tea, you'll probably like this just fine.
