I've had quite a few of these Irish creams before, but they all seem to bring something unique to the table. I've never had any from Brady's before, so I don't know what I'm really in for. As far as I know, this is the first beverage I've had from Northern Ireland. As a result, I've gone ahead and added the United Kingdom label to this review. I don't anticipate that the inclusion of an extra label is going to change the taste of the beverage, but maybe they have a slightly different approach to adding whiskey to cream.
Unsurprisingly, this pours out as a vaguely tan cream. It has all the hallmarks of cream including the weepers down the side of the glass when it sloshes. The aroma is slightly chocolatey, slightly alcohol, and the expected cream. So, the presentation is pretty much what you would expect. Normally, I like to keep the description paragraph as detailed as I can come up with, but there isn't really much to say about this one, so I'm just gonna start sipping. It seems like forever since I had an Irish cream, and I remember just how good they are after the first sip. I wouldn't say that this is dramatically different than the others that I've had, and I believe that that is a good thing. The hard alcohol is soothed by the cream, and the hint of chocolate really adds a fullness to the beverage that I can appreciate. At the same time, the alcohol is vibrant enough that you won't be fooled into believing this is just regular cream.
Subsequent sips reveal nothing further. This is a good, smooth cream that I will enjoy sipping for the rest of the night. I hope everyone out there has a great night, too.
Bottom Line: If you haven't tried sipping cream, you need to try.
