Joy of joys. I have really enjoyed finding new types of cream liqueurs. My sister-in-law in Pennsylvania really envies the options I have in Tennessee when it comes to this kind of beverage. For some reason, these kinds of creams have not crept their way up to the Keystone State. It's a shame, too, as these make for excellent night caps or even just as something to sip while hanging out with friends and swapping stories. This is not my first from Tennessee Legend, and I suspect it won't be my last.
I always have a description paragraph as the second paragraph, and it always seems kind of pointless when it comes to these creams. Yes, this looks like cream. Yes, it is slightly darker than regular cream. Yes, when I slosh around it leaves weepers on the side just like regular cream or any kind of hard liquor. The aroma is sweet vanilla, and it is little else. I don't actually know what flavor Wedding Bells is supposed to be. I kind of assumed it would be some kind of cake, and I suppose it could be a vanilla cake. I'm gonna taste this to find out.First sip is, indeed, wedding cake. The cream is sweet and very vanilla. I can even taste a buttercream icing. If anything, this might be a little too sweet. But, I find that that is the case with most cakes, anyway. So, I guess this is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. I don't think I'm going to draw this review out very much further, as subsequent sips just reaffirm what I've already decided and described to you.
Bottom Line: Tasty, but a bit too sweet.
