The beer is a very hazy copper with a somewhat sticky head that isn't gonna leave any lacing, but it's got lots of tiny little bubbles, and it feels extra foamy. The aroma is citrus and tropical fruits with a particularly sweet and thick malt that puts me in mind of bread crust. There's definitely some pine adding to the mixture, and it is not unwelcome, unlike most beers that I have encountered that are pine heavy.
First sip is actually pretty good. It's a lot smoother than any beer that has pine should be, and it even gives a little bit of crispness to the finish. The meat of the beer is mostly tropical fruits, and they are mixing very harmoniously with the sweet malt. The result is that the beverage is not as bitter as it probably should be with this many hops. It's a good mixture so far.
TIp-in is medium carbonation burn with a funk and pine over a sweet malt that seems confused about what it's supposed to be doing. The middle is just like the sip in that it appears to be very smooth, even through the pine, and the fruits (mostly stone fruits) ease right on down the gullet without too much bitterness. The finish has a hit of bitter with a snap of crispness coming from the fruits before a slight fog of funk leads into the trail off.
Bottom Line: It probably won't be a beer I go to very often, but it's not bad.
