It seems like it's almost a cliché for me to point out that I have never had a beer from a particular brewer before. I go out of my way to find different breweries, so maybe I should just assume that anyone reading this knows it's a new one. Of course, I'm sure I don't get whole lot of repeat visitors hanging on to my every word, but maybe mom will visit this page one day. Either way, this is from a new brewery. Go Portland (Oregon)!

The beer is very hazy, and the yellow-gold fluid has tiny clumps of dark orange bits left over from the brewing process. The head is not particularly substantial, and it leaves just a smattering of bubbles in the middle and clinging to the sides of the glass. The aroma is quite strong with its apricots, oranges, grapefruit, tangerine, and even a little banana. This is a citrus
wit, but it comes across like it is indiscriminate about the kind of fruits that it's welcoming in.
First sip is unusually smooth. It's like a smoothie made out of all of those fruits that I smelled in the aroma, but it includes quite a few fruit rinds to add quite a bit of fibrousness to it. The result is a full-bodied beverage with a simple mixture of fruits that have a little bit of trailing bitterness, but it's pretty good overall.
Tip-in is very mild carbonation burn with the bananas and tangerines mixing with light grains. The middle is awash with heightened carbonation burn over top of an even smoother version of that fruit smoothie that the sip gave me a glimpse of. Everything wraps up with a smack of higher carbonation burn before a low bitterness enters and overtakes the fruit right as it is getting musty.
Bottom Line: A full-bodied brew that does the comic book character it's named after justice.
