First sip is Belgian ale. It's all kinds of dark fruits and caramel malt. The beer is like biting a solid chunk of beer and chewing the fruit of goodness. I'm going to have to break this down, and that works out, as that's my way.
Tip-in is light carbonation tingle with the dark fruits and yeast while the grains are more noticeable than you might expect. The middle saunters in with an airy lightness on top, but the bottom is lurking caramel, toffee, and lots more of the dark fruits. The finish is a quick jab of grains and bitterness. The trail-off is plumbs and tart fruits.
Bottom Line: It's a good beer with a rough edge that brings character to the beer.
