I do not recall how many beverages I've had that were 14% ABV. Most creams I have encountered arbitrarily seem to cap themselves at right around 13%. Hell, Baileys seems to be the expert at getting 17% right on the nose every time. Maybe it's because this is rum that it's different. I liked the Amarula that used some strange alcohol from a forbidden fruit in South Africa. I wonder what the forbidden fruit of Wisconsin is going to do.
It appears to be slightly runny chocolate milk that doesn't have enough chocolate in it. It's notably thinner than almost all of the other creams I've had in recent memory. Hell, it's thinner than ones I've had in distant memory. But, maybe that's the rum just kind of doing its thing. The aroma is chocolate, vanilla, and mint.
First sip is absolutely fantastic. The rum is smoothed out by the cream, and the chocolate and mint are spinning a delicious taste that I'm genuinely stunned by. I don't know that I'll bother coming back to the review, as I expect this'll just stay the same. Like a lot of creams, this is very sweet, so I'd probably drink this as the last drink for the night, but I think I'd enjoy it.
