So, this has a little diagram on the front, and I'm trying to figure out what exactly it means. It's possible these are greater than symbols, so it would mean hops are greater than Sun which is greater than rain. I don't know that that's strictly speaking true, so is it hops result in Sun result in rain? I also don't think that's true. Does it mean that I shouldn't bother to try and figure out what it means? This, I believe, is ultimately where I'm going to wind up. Sometimes, a puzzle is created that isn't intended to be solved.
The orange beer is hazy, and I really feel like I shouldn't even comment about that anymore. I don't want to encourage these people to slap "hazy" labels on their beer like it's an actual thing. It isn't an actual thing, and it shouldn't be an actual thing. Stop doing it. The fluffy white head is, notably, absolutely amazing. It is full, frothy, and it doesn't seem to go down quickly at all. I poured this a little while ago, and I am still looking at almost an inch of foam at the top of this glass. This is impressive. The magnificent head maybe obscuring the aroma quite a bit, as I really can't discern a whole lot, aside from some fruits.
First sip is shockingly smooth. This doesn't say anything about lactose on the label, but this sure as hell taste like it has it. If it doesn't have lactose, I would have thought that it has nitrogen, but these bubbles are just a bit too large for that. I don't know how they're managing it, but this is smooth as all get out. It is deliciously smooth. The fruits are as much in smoothie form here as anywhere else, and that is a direct result of the smoothness of the texture. I would really like to know how they managed to do it, and I am, as you can probably tell, impressed.
Tip-in is smooth and sweet with a tart and bitter back end that's really kind of hard to describe, but the hops seem to be more spiky than fruity at the beginning. The middle really highlights the smoothness that I tasted in the sip, and it becomes an amazing playground slide coated in bitter grease down which someone has slid fruity Jell-O. The finish has a bitter twang to it before tartness and bitterness hold each other in the trail off.
