Is this different than the one I had before? That one was also yellow, but it only said that it was tea, and this one specifically calls out that it is lemon tea. Often times, the two are conflated, and it's entirely possible that's the case here. I recall liking the other one, so I guess it's no great hardship to have to do a review of the same one again, assuming that is the case.
The tea is once again rather dark in color, and there's not going to be a head, as there really shouldn't be a head or carbonation anywhere near a hard iced tea. The aroma is, once again, iced tea that has been sweetened, and it has a little bit of lemon smell to it as well. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to differentiate this from pretty much any other iced tea.
First sip is okay, but I remember enjoying the straight iced tea right off the bat. This one seems unusually heavy, and I still don't like the amount of sweetness that they add to these kinds of teas. A little bit of lemon is adding just a smidge to the tea, and this is certainly drinkable overall.
After drinking for a little bit, the tea is still certainly good enough, but there is too much sweetness, and the alcohol eventually seeps in. They may have been trying a little too hard to get the 7% in, but I suppose this is perfectly acceptable for an iced tea that you just want to get a gentle buzz on by the end of the night. Should they have just produced another beer? Probably, but this fills its own niche.
