I'm not sure if these beers are supposed to be different actual heroes or if it's one person cosplaying as different heroes or if this is a Revolution Cinematic Universe that is going to be taking the world by storm with all of these heroes banding together to fight ... Stone, the Bad Guy Brewery of the US. With their gallery of Arrogant Bastards, Star Fawkers, and Sanctimonious villains.
The mostly hazy, orange beer has a nice, sticky head that leaves oodles of lacing in it's descent to a rocky layer of bubbles that don't completely cover the top of the beer. The aroma is, as you might imagine, filled with tropical fruits. These are almost pristine in their presentation as fruit meat, which I rarely find to be the case in the aroma. This should be good.Fist sip is very good, and it reminds me of no other beers so much as the other Hero beers from these guys. It has the signature bitter tail that the others had, and I don't know if it's the malt or the style of hops that these guys use, but the mix is so dang familiar it's uncanny. It's been a while since I had my last hero beer, and I swear I'm transported back to that day.
Tip-in is moderate carbonation burn atop the spritz of a hundred fruits (mango, papaya, passion fruit, and even some dragon fruit). The middle increases the carbonation ruckus above a symphony of fruit juices flowing smoothly and easily down the center. The finish is dry with a bitter wave that comes on slowly, but it hits harder than expected before rinds emerge for the trail-off.
Bottom Line: About on par with what I remember from the others. Good.
