So, the cat on the label isn't actually wearing a T-shirt. Instead, we get a cartoon representation of cat nipples that are slightly disturbing, and they added a tie (presumably this represents the "Corporation" portion of the name). More importantly, this is a
NEIPA, and I am a fan of this particular derivative of
IPA.

The hazy orange beer doesn't emit much of a head, but it has a thin and patchy swirl of tiny bubbles that sits on top of the beer in a regal manner. What IS heady is the abundant aroma, curling its way in every direction from the base. The smell is sweet and tangy orange and apricot, and I want to just stop typing and drink it, but this blog exists for a reason... I don't remember what the reason is, but I thought it was important at some point, obviously.
First sip is a very pleasant orange front with a more truculent mix of grapefruit, grasses, tangerine, and assorted fruit pits and rinds. It's not that great in a sip, but a tangled web of flavors is never going to sit right in the plain sip. So, it is on to the gulp.
Tip-in is very gentle carbonation tingle that slowly rises toward a burn while orange tang and sweetness are a little watered down and mixed with very light grains. The carbonation takes hold for the middle as an orange-tangerine-grapefruit slurry passes unremarkably down the center of the mouth. The finish is the shutting off of a valve as the juices stop, and a grassy dryness settles in, but a sweetness persists.
Bottom Line: Unremarkably good.
