First sip brings a very simple, mild, almost milky beverage that tastes unsurprisingly of cinnamon. The sweet malt makes the whole thing seem really smooth and silky. It doesn't have enough flavor to really stand up to anything as a sipping beer, but it might be a good one to knock back a few while hanging out, I guess. Let's dissect it with a big swig.
Tip-in is light carbonation, a grainy malt, light biscuits, some lemon, and the faintest hint of the cinnamon. When the middle hits, it turns up the carbonation and adds a bit of sweetness to the malt while the spiciness of the cinnamon starts to tickle. I wouldn't normally call cinnamon spicy, but the finger of harshness that I taste can really only be described that way. Finish is a wave of carbonation followed by a smooth, milky sweet malt.
Bottom Line: It's an okay beverage, but it's a bit too weak to drink as a stand-alone beer.
