First sip is a bit like pink lemonade, but not overly so. It's sweet, but it has a hit of carbonation that kind of puts a tart bite on the whole thing moreso than the lemon does. I get more of a grapefruit taste than I do lemon from a simple sip. I suspect I'll be able to cull more from a proper swig. Coincidentally, that's what my standard drinking procedure calls for. If you didn't know that, your job is to meticulously go through each beverage review on this blog. You'll start to see my pattern.
Tip-in is the lemon soap taste followed quickly by carbonation completely taking over the tongue. The middle of it is almost sickly sweet as it rolls to the top of the mouth. The finish has a slight tartness coupled with more carbonation. Trailing off is a bitter sweet lemon and grapefruit. I like actual pink lemonade on occasion, but not this one.
