Don't worry, I didn't pick up a multi-pack. That really kinda bit me on the Mike's reviews I just got done with, but I have another batch of reviews coming from a multi-pack that I haven't even tried yet. Of course, if I like this, I will wonder why I didn't search out a multi-pack for these guys. I think this is the most number of references to a "multi-pack" that I've ever put in a review. Prove me wrong.
The triple berries in this made me assume I was going to get a form of fruit punch, but this looks like a rosé wine. Of course, it's more like a sparkling rosé, but it's pretty far off from what a punch would look like. The aroma is exactly what the beverage appears to be, as it smells like berries and wine. It smells basically like a fruit wine, and I guess that is technically what this is (although I don't know the process, and you can't make me learn it).
First sip is, honestly, too much berry. I know it's weird to say that about something that is pretty clearly being sold on the idea that there are a bunch of berries in it, but it's like ordering the hot wings and getting the volcano wings; I wanted heat, but I wanted flavor. I wanted berries, but I wanted cider. What you brought is berries with more berries.
Tip-in is almost no carbonation and a sweet mix of berries. The middle is actually kind of nice with the berries still sweet and forward, but they aren't overpowering anything while carbonation gets a little bit in on all of this. The finish is not great as the berries hit hard and the wine-like alcohol asserts and clings on well after the trail off.
